Dr. Sarah Wingo grew up on a hobby farm in Nashville, Tennessee. She actively participated in her local 4-H horse club, where she was inspired by the show veterinarians to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

She attended the University of Tennessee for both her undergraduate education and vet school. She graduated in 2022 and started her ambulatory internship with Peterson Smith shortly after. Dr. Wingo’s interests include ophthalmology, lameness, and reproduction.

In her free time, Dr. Wingo enjoys playing with her 3½ legged dog, snow skiing, and water skiing.
